Tuesday 13th of April 2010 03:09 PM Nigel & Julie Butcher backroomacoustic@hotmail.co.uk We run a twice monthly acoustic music club at the Jolly Sailor pub on the second and fourth Thursdays and have done so successfully for the last 21/2 years, we also hold the annual'Gig In The Garden' in the community garden in Great Whyte, a free event, this year to be held on the 19th of June. We would very much like a mention as a part of the Ramsey Arts Festival. | ||

Monday 26th of October 2009 03:07 PM Helen Coupe communitychampion5292@googlemail.com I am writing to introduce myself as the Community Champion for Tesco Ramsey. My role is to make links with the local community and identify ways in which Tesco skills, knowledge and resources can make a difference. I also have responsibility for delivering parts of Tesco's Community Plan in the new store, for example, promoting reuse and recycling or Fairtrade products. Examples of ways in which I can help are: Arranging a bag packing session instore Helping schools and colleges promote healthy eating Providing a prize for a charity raffle Providing practical help with a local project, e.g. a community garden Providing space instore for a charity stand Giving educational or eco-tours of the store If you have any ideas about how Tesco may be able to help your organisation, please do call or email me to discuss them. Ben Parnell ben_parnell@hotmail.com Hi, just a query about the joint schools concert in the arts festival. Who is organising the event? I work closly with the head of music at Abbey College and she doesn't know much about the concert or contacting other schools about the concert as she is a new head. I also work for FMA who is the music provider for Abbey College's feeder schools, some who have asked me about being involved. I have lots of questions and would like to help. Thankyou Ben Parnell |
